Hi,
I am setting up a Fish/Invert tank has been running a couple of days. The skimmer; a Deltec MCE600 does it's job well, but is adding very fine bubbles to the main tank. I have tried adjusting the air in take to reduce the amount of air flow into the Deltec, but this then reduces the skimming ability.
A few questions then:
1 - How can I stop all those tiny bubbles in the tank?
2 - What is the best setting for the Deltec MCE600, when do I know it is running at its best?
3 - It has been frothing quite a bit, hence the need to turn it down for that too. Does this extreme frothing stop as the tank matures?
Many thanks for your help everyone.
