Derasa, on last leg?

I have a derasa, it was doing fine for a while but now it seems to keep it's shell almost close and stick it's mantle out... does this mean my clam is gonna die? other than not opening all the way, the mantle looks healthy... is there anything I can do to help??

well, shortly after he started to close up, I had a cyanobacteria bloom... (oops I forgot to change my phos-ban) I put some new media and a phosphate pillow in my sump and the cyanobacteria seems to be receeding. as a result the clam seems to be opening up a little more. hopefully this will solve the problem.
