derasa question?

Why did the blue rim of my derasa disappear? What would cause this?

how long have you had it?

have you recently change bulbs? what are your water para.?

Perams are fine. Bulbs have always been 2x 250w Ushio mh. I have had it for 5mos.

It has grown well but the color isn't what it used to be. Looking back at the pics just now it hasn't changed much in color except for the blue rim. It is in an sps tank and I keep my water VERY clean. Is this a problem? I went through a very small nitrate problem for about a month but it only got to 25.

I don't know what to say. it looks like your water is good,and the lighting is good.if it looks health and your aren't having a problems with it then I wouldn't worry about it.i might color back up in a little while
