thanks jeff

Get a syphon hose going an run it into your filter sock in the sump and suck it out. An if you don't have a filter sock in sump, get one and do it daily until you get rid of it.
If you have a sumpless tank get a 5 gallon bucket with a sock clipped to top rim of bucket and place a powerhead in bottom of bucket to return water to tank. Sock will catch everything that is siphoned out.

thats great i know all that but it doesn't help me with my question, i know the reason for the cyno/algae. but at this rate the coral will be cover in the next couple of days and the once the cyno starts you just can suck it off the corals, it wills them and stay in the creaves and keeps spreading

I went thru this back in 2002 an I'm telling you what I did on a daily basis to get rid of it. Nutrient Export. Don't know what kind of flow or powerheads your using or what size tank for that matter? But I do know you can beat it, but not over night. I would increase flow over your montis to prevent it from building there. I would increase flow period and siphon it out daily. All I can tell you.
