Distance between light and surface water?

Wondering how far my two 175w 14k pheonix lights (in huge lumen bright reflectors) should be from my 150g rubbermaid tub/frag tank.

try higher then you can always move lower. i would think 12-18 inches above the water is going to be good depending on what corals you plan on propagating. 12 inches is probably ideal.

Lumen brights should be mounted about 18" from the water surface.
