diving in to the world of stomatopods...

I checked out the foam thing. They use the same method to prop up the mangroves at my aquarium. That seems to be a-okay wil. Concerning the macro, I have some in my tank and it just seems to get in the way a lot unless you have it properly anchored. Even then, it does become a nusiance more than anything. If you want to do macro I would suggest using a small amount. But then again it's your tank.:D

I found my chiragra does'nt really like to navigate through the fields of macro algae I have right now in my main tank. I think it's because the algae restricts her movement and anything that makes my chiragra feel vunerable disturbes her. Maybe it will be different with your P. ciliata since it will be way more active than my chiragra, assuming that's what you buy. On the other hand if you put too much in you can always remove it and put it in another tank, or sell it to me! Win-win situation.:D

im definitely going to be aiming for a P. Cilita

oh and what do u like better...
the mangrove island or the overhang tide-pool type thing??
