DIY Calcium Reactor???

I saw a thread to this awhile ago, but can not find it.

I look at OZ's but I really do not like it...The one I saw was clear and looked really good.

Could someone please point me in the right direction.

Thanks, looks like this is alot harder then it looks, I will probably be better off buying one.

Yeah, I printed out the instructions over a year ago, but have not really gotten the gumption to go and make one, though the Bay Area Reefers club I belong to had a workshop and built a similar reactor (based on this design, but with a different lid) in one day... but they had tools and expertise at hand too (I didn't build one that day, because I had bought a crappy one off of eBay. Once it arrived in the mail, my first reaction was ... "This is it? This is all there is too it?" PRetty much the same reaction I had when my $300 AquaC protein skimmer arrived too!)

But without the tools, space and practice...it really might be easier to buy one. The thing is that these things carry such a big premium ($300 for a skimmer? $400 for a reactor!!) it might be worth a try if you have some tools and willingness!
