DIY IKEA Rimless tank…. Has anyone tried it…..

So while watching BRStv Videos on YouTube, I came across this DIY IKEA RIMLESS tank video. It’s a pretty interesting watch and I have to admit, after watching it my son and I are considering a drive to IKEA tomorrow to check out the “tank kits”.

Has anyone tried doing this DIY? If so, how did it go and how is the tank doing now?

I watched that one a while back. I can't see a reason there'd be a problem if you have some DIY skills other than it not being drillable.

Mi kid has plans to go to IKEA tomorrow to pick out some shelves and make a tank for NANA because she ”needs” a tank.

Interesting. Got to looking at this in more detail. Was honestly hoping for larger glass sizes than what’s available looks like biggest is 29 gallons that he’s come up with

We were thinking the same. I was hoping for a 120 build. But, I’ll definitely follow as this has me really intrigued.
