DIY Led Actinics from Rapid Led

Thought I would share my recent addition to my lighting. I added 12 Cree Royal Blues. I there is alot of blue light but I thought of changing one of the blue+ to a purple +. I wanted the less for the extra blue and to extend my night time viewing. The tank is a 60 cube, with a 250 watt DE phoenix and two ati Blue +.

Dont get purple plus. I hate them. I have them turned off on my tank now cause they make every thing look brown. Switching to blue plus or coral

I always had good luck with KZ Fiji Purple, when I ran T5's. I hear ATI Purple+ is very similar.

I do enjoy a tank on the bluer side. Just my preference. I added the Royal Blues because back during my Led days my corals showed very good growth from them, I also get more viewing time. I may try the purple +, not in a real hurry though. I am very pleased with the Phoenix bulb, except for the fact they need replacement every six months. They lose about 20% in their first six months. Right now I have the Led's on from 1230 to 2330 at 50% with a 2 hour ramp. T5's on from 1400 to 2200 and the MH on from 1530 to 2030.
