DIY Sump: interior walls leak

So I made a sump out of a 30 gal glass aquarium.

there are a few leaks in the baffles and the fuge. I'm thinking this is not a problem.

Opinions?

Because the water levels are close, it really won't make a lot of difference other than for the skimmer. They operate best in a constant depth so evaporation could cause issues. You could just put a little more silicone on the leaky areas. I'm just OCD enough that I'd probably redo them. Especially if they are glass, new silicone will come off easily with a single edge razorblade.

If the leaks are sufficient to cause the water level in all sections to be the same, it is an issue. Water will flow across the surface, rather than passing through your methods, rendering them ineffective. Despite Bill's self criticism, it cannot be considered OCD (it should be CDO as it must be in alphabetical order...) to pull the baffles and redo them. Once the silicone has been wet, and it is fully cured, new silicone will not stick to the silicone already present so well, and the leaks could reappear down the road at some point.
