do mantis shrimp burrow in to rock?

Hey guys. I know nothing of mantis shrimp, but I don't know weather I have one or not. I could swear that I hear clicking sometimes at nights. One thing I have notices is on of my pieces of Rock has a few new burrows in it. About 1/4" accross. I blew in to it with a turkey baster and it seems to be connected to a network of them on that rock since it blew out of 4 or 5 holes. I shined a flashlight on the rock late at night and saw something quikly run in to it, too fast for ID. Also I know it's burrowing because it's making a mess of my BB tank around it. Could it be a mantis? or something else

Yes, they can burrow through almost anything.

my n wennerae chipped through the rock and has basically hollowed out it's favorite rock. It will block up the holes at night with pieces of shell and rubble. If you're hearing the click,click,click and new holes are appearing odds are it's a mantis.
