Does a fighting conch eat dino specifically Amphidiniurn

In the middle of a dino outbreak. I have a couple fighting conch, and I occasionally see them nosing about the sand...are they eating the dino, it does not look like they are 'turning' the sand, but going over it and removing the dino on the surface of the substrate?

Thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves.
