what kind of other fish can you put with a dogface puffer. mine seems to look lonely all the time.

If the tank size listed in your info is correct (30 gal), I wouldn't add anything else. The puffer will need a much larger tank in short order. In big systems, there are several suitable fish that can be tankmates for puffs.

WOW... Either your Puffer is very young and still very small, 'as was in my case when I first got my trigger', or your LFS are unconscionable morons for selling you a fish that big to live in a tank that small. I agree with Jerry... Acquiring a bigger tank should be by FAR a higher priority than acquiring tank mates for an already way-to-full tank.

ewell i plan to get a bigger tank but i would just like to know what type of fish i could start to look at or start looking into getting to put with him.

i would't start looking at fish i would start to look for another tank quick. that puffer will be big in no time.
