downgrading to a nano

looks like the days of keeping a decent sized reef are coming to an end....I have a 65g system for 4 years now, and due to time/energy constraints, I need to downgrade to something more manageable.

I'm looking to downgrade to something around 15-25g (prefer glass...I'm done with acrylic).....28g and over is just too much. With the least amount of equipment as possible (no sumps or skimmers). I plan on keeping a few non-acro sps frags, a clam, and a few acan/chalice/zoa frags. A small DIY fuge would be REALLY nice.

I also prefer a MH (70w or 150w) over any type of PC or T5 lighting.

I don't know much about these all-in-one nano tanks, so if someone could give me some recommendations, and advice it would be much appreciated. Also, any mods would be great.....but nothing too crazy. Looking to keep the integrity of the tank...if I wanted a sump with elaborate plumbing and equipment, I would just go with a standard tank and drill it rather than an all-in-one.

But I will probably be looking at using a phosban reactor with carbon on the outside of the tank......and possibly a CPR aquafuge if someone can point out the correct size that will fit on the back if the tank doesn't already have a built in fuge.

Also, what kind of pumps for circulation on this size tank would you all recommend? (vortech mp20?)

I will also be using my ACJr and Litermeter3 from my current system to run it with automated top off etc.

Thinking along the lines of a 24g aquapod, or 22g cadlights with clip on 150w MH light. Or possibly this 24 Gallon Viper Nano Cube combo kit.

Any ideas?

www.nantuners.com has pretty much any upgrade you would want/need to keep pretty much anything you want.

they offer DIY kits, send-in service on your hood, completly modified hoods & complete turn-key packages (since you have no tank as of yet)

they also sell "replacement tanks" if you just want the tank to piece together a pump & your own lighting. my LFS recently started selling a hoodless jbj24 kit that includes the tank, pump, all the rear filtration items & a glass hood....but no lighting. my plan is to buy one & build my own DIY LED fixture for it

thread i made about it.....

the biggest limit is simply how much you want your wallet to bleed LOL

my other idea i am/was considering was to take a 20tall (24*12.5*17) & sectionalize off 6" of one end & do 3 chambers in it for skimmer (like tunze 9002)>>refugium>>return & build a nice stand/canopy/surround for it like this:
