Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢ve been working on plumbing together several salt systems I have had running and part of that set up I am trying to accomplish includes a small display tank. A 5.5 gallon all glass tank sits under my display tanks which drain into it and then it drains into the sump.
I drilled the tank fine and attached and sealed PVC fittings to it, but when I went to attach the drain tube to lead to the bottom sump the bottom of the tank cracked.
Could I just patch it up with a bead of all-glass aquarium glue on the bottom as well as the top? Do I need to lay another sheet of plastic or glass on top of it and glue it down? Or is there no way I should try and repair.
Yeah itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s not that expensive of a tank, but Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m broke and it took me forever to drill the hole in the bottom of it, I really donââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t want to do it again. What do you think?

Here are a couple of pictures to give you an idea of what the crack looks like:
