Drilling rocks...

I just saw a video on reefvideos.com on drilling your rock. Im deciding if I should do it because I like how it gives you a choice to put your corals where you want. What do you guys think, should I do it? Will this allow me to mount SPS, LPS AND Soft Corals?

thanks,
Ali

Sometimes people drill rocks in a certain configuration so as to enable them to put acrylic rods down through them so that they don't move in the tank.

Yea, but this guy drilled the rocks to place coral in. He would glue plastic tubing to his corals and stick them in the holes drilled into the rocks.

It sounds like an interesting idea, but maybe more trouble than it's worth. I think most get along fine without the drilling, unless you're a DIY'er than, go for it!
