Dripping Kalk, how much?

I'm setting up my Kalk drip and it's ready to go. I have a 30g, so is there an idea of how many drips per hour I should be doing? Or will it be just a standard (try this and monitor)?

Also...my Alk is at 4 but my Magnesium is at 1600....Is there a direct correlation? If I start my drip and bring the Alk up, will the Mag go down?

As long as it spreads the addition out over many hours, it is fine. The concern is the pH getting too high with too fast of addition.

No. Magnesium may very slowly be consumed, or reduced by water changes unless it is excessively high in the salt mix (like Oceanic).
