Driver "whizzing" noise - intermittent

Hi Roger,
I have 3 6000's on a multicontroller. The other day, I heard a intermittent "whizzing" noise from one of the driver. The pump on that driver has also stopped working. I unplugged that driver. That is the only way to stop the noise. Sorry, but that is the only way I know how to describe the noise.

Any ideas?

Sorry I missed your thread, I am in Nuremburg at present and can connect only sporadically in cafes and with the work schedule I have it is pretty hard to get time. Please forgive me the delay and if you need help again I will try to be more prompt. I return to Texas on the 23rd and things should return to normal.

The whizzing noise was actually the "alarm" on the driver. I did not know that at first. Thought it was the driver malfunctioning, until I read the manual. Duh!

Anyways, I dis-assembled the Stream, soaked in Vinegar for like 8 hours, completely washed and light scrubbed all the parts, and then soaked again in just plain water to remove any excess vinegar. Then re-assembled and everything worked fine. Actually all three of my streams were much more efficient after the cleaning!
