DT substitute?

Okay everybody knows that DT's are the best food for clams. Unfortunatley, here in Hawaii it is not available and ordering it from the internet is not an option either.

So my question is, what is the second best alternative other than DT's or making my own? Please let me know. Thanks.

I think the best substitute for DT's is Kent Marines Phytoplex. It seems to be small enough for the clams to be able to eat it. I use it in conjunction with DT's but i see the same behavior from the clams.

I'm using marine snow (two little fishes I think is the brand) it's generally regarded as crap, but I can get it locally so I'm using it until the bottle is gone and can order some DT's in.

It's been about a month and the clam seems to like it, I float him in a tupperware dish for awhile, he'll start filtering right away when he's in there and seems very healthy. He's only about 2" too.
