I have a 58 gallon FOLR tank. I think my yellow tang is dying. he looks emaciated and is just floating around. I put him in quarintine tank. All water parameters are great. He doesn't have ich, my clown and 4 shrimp are fine, HELP

Hey, what's your age? I've always wanted to know the age of aquarius. :p ;)

Uhhh, it sounds like your tang is malnourished. What have you been feeding and how much? If he's still eating, get some nori/seaweed, soak it in vitamins (zoe or selcon) and feed him all he'll eat.
Has this tank only been set up since February? If so, you might have put him in a little soon. Tangs prefer mature systems.

Like Mariner said, give it some seaweed. I feed my YT "Seaweed Selects" with Selcon. It also eats Lifeline, Formula 1&2, mysis, and flake; but the majority of its diet is the seaweed selects.

Having only had him a week, I wonder if your LFS didn't sell you a sick fish.
Have you tried garlic oil? It'll help finicky fish to eat what you serve.
Just a thought.

Do you put the nori on a clip and leave it in the tank for awhile? Sometimes tangs don't go after nori like other foods, but they usually will graze on it if its in the tank.
Also, soaking it in a vitamin solution will greatly improve the likelihood that the tang will eat it and that it will benefit him.
Another thing to try would be some Spirulina flake, which you can usually get at a LFS -- its good for herbivores and very nutritious.
FWIW, you may have gotten a tang that was roughly handled during capture and shipping -- could have been doomed from the start.
Good luck.
