Dynos after 3 years running question

I've changed the rodi units, checked the tds, doing weekly water changes and dynos still keep coming back. What else can I do? Dose no3? Po4? What do dynos hate?

I got dinos after having near-0 phosphate for months. What finally worked for me was raising no3 and po4 to 10 and .1, and allowing the GHA to take over and out compete the dinos. Now the GHA is going away too. I dose with sodium nitrate and trisodium phosphate. Doing water changes won't help you.

Good luck!

I had success with UV and manual removal, among other things. For manual removal, get a fine mesh net, so it doesn't pass through it. There are many different species of dinos, so one method does not fit all. So you'll need to try different things to see what works. There are no quick fixes. It takes months. So prepare for a long term war.
