I purchased a Ear Muff Wrasse a couple of days ago from WWC, observing him during acclimation he seem to be quite healthy swimming around the bucket like crazy i dripped acclimated him for about 3hrs before adding him to the tank. He swam around the tank for about a good 10 to 15 mins. and then disappeared, i haven't seen any signs of him since i imagine he's in the rock work or sand hiding my question is how long should i wait before being concerned .

Wrasses are jumpers. You have a tight fitting lid, ya? If not, look on the floor beind the tank...
I’d also allow for up to a week before getting too concerned. My melanurus wrasse hid for 4 days before becoming more social
