When testing ammonia with a dye test kit, is it normal if the test results in a cloudy, opaque, yellow?
Here is the reason I ask a seemingly ridiculous question. My son's tank recently had a run-away heater. Temp. went 90+.javascript:smilie('
')
eek We knew something was wrong when half the fish, snails, and shrimp died. Since my son, he's 11, usually test the water I don't remember is that cloudiness is normal. My fresh water tests are always clear yellow.
Any tips on how to get our tank back in shape?
