is this tank big enough for a peacock,

I have a 3/12 inch to 4 inch peacock in an Eclipse 6 and I think he/she has plenty of room.. seems to be very happy.. 12 would be ideal...

thanks for the reply skin, i didnt want to get a mantis until i found out if the tank size was right, now for the burrow can i just take a piece of pvc and place the rock on top of it?

Yup..

I used a 1 1/2 inch pipe and cut it about 5 or 6 inches deep.. Get black if you can.. some people believe the darker "cave", helps your mantis keep their color..
