Elegance: pellet food?

What do you guys think about feeding an Elegance with pellet food, if it'll take it? I know occasionally when I feed my fish that a few will drop onto my other LPS's like fungia or a branching hammer, and they'll consume it.

Curious to hear your opinions on this.

Elegance corals normally need more stimulation than a small particle falling on them to induce a feeding responce. Elegance corals feed on live prey in the wild. The best way to get an Elegance to feed is to gently wiggle a small piece of shrimp or fish in its tentacles. The goal is to mimic a struggling prey animal. If the coral is healthy it will sting the food and move it to its mouth. If something small lands on an elegance and the coral does not detect any signs of life it will most likely ignore the food.
