Other than the frogspawn, candy cane, and zoas that I have in my 55 gallon, I just got my first Acan frag on Tuesday. They've been doing great in the tank and all of the heads are now puffed up and some of them had feeder tentacles out already (I take this as a good sign)
That said, I am now looking into options and ways of attaching the frag to a piece of rock that is in my tank. I know that I've seen info. about this before on here, but I'm having a hard time hunting it down so I'd thought I'd ask.
What is the best type of epoxy to use that can be bought locally (Home Depot, Lowes, etc)? I remember seeing that there was a special kind that has been used but would like to find out the exact brand so I can purchase the right kind.
Also, can anyone suggest a method to epoxying the frag to the rock? I guess I mean more along the lines of what shape (mound, etc) do you make to transistion the frag to the rock.
Just wanted to get a general consensus on the various methods people are using before I try it out myself.
Thanks in advance for any/all suggestions.
