Now that the Euroreef forum is gone, I guess this is the next best place to post this question. I just inherited a Euroreef CS12-3 and now I need to replan my basement setup. I have two questions:
1) Footprint
The site states that the footprint is 18" x 24". Does anyone know if this measurement includes the three Sedra pumps. In other words, can I get a sump that is exactly 18x24 to house it?
2) Overskimming.
I've read over and over that there's no such thing as overskimming, but this has got to be pushing it. It's rated for a 500g and I have a 65g with a 29g sump. I'd hate to be blowing 150w if I can get away with much less.
Any thoughts appreciated.
