There are a few threads on this product. The problem with such a supplement is that it's dosing a wide mix of chemicals in an uncontrolled fashion, which can cause problems. I wouldn't use it.

I agree with Jonathan. I would not suggest adding anything unless you can control the addition of it and test for it.

My tank is new, currently 54 days old and I have only found it necessary to add Alkalinity, Calcium and a little magnesium. I dose Randy's 2 part formula 1 formula.

Thus far everything is perfect.

I'm not a fan of it. It just dissolves at a steady rate and adds stuff (and we can't even be sure how much of what stuff) whether your tank needs it or not.

Such claims as

"As elements are depleted from solution, Formula 28 delivers exactly equivalent amounts to replace them. "

are utterly ridiculous.
