Ever wonder what your fish taste like?

Maybe I'm just sick and twisted, but I sometimes wonder what my fish would taste like if I had run out of food and had to fry 'em up. I have a hippo tang that is nice and plump and looks the most appetizing. The rest of my fish are tiny and would be nothing more than a fish nugget. I have a mean damsel that I would take pleasure in devouring, and I don't know if I have the heart to eat my cute pair of clownfish.

I was doing tidepool stalking at the beach at the old Kona airport and watched a Hawaiian net fishing. He caught (and gutted) several yellow and chevron tangs while I watched. His dinner, my pet. :)

in the east you will find huge markets filled with huge angels on ice for around 5 dollars ( US ) =) and sometimes we pay 100+ for live fish lol.

south of the border.... where the fish like to plaaayyyy

My buddy lived in the Philippine and told me that he has had every type of tangs, goby, wrasse, and any and all reef fish for lunch dinner and brunch on a daily basis. It appears that they are very good eating. I showed him pictures of my tank once and he pointed out my valmingi tang and he said, ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œdeep friedââ"šÂ¬Ã‚.

Trigger fish are delicious but yield a small fillet for a large fish.
A friend of mine is a scuba guy and brought me a couple of 2-3 lb
fish. They were hard to clean but the fillets grilled up nicely.
I basted with a mixture of Olive oil, Butter, minced fresh garlic, lemon juice,a good white wine and some black pepper!

:D Tacos make me smile... especially fish tacos... mmmm

How about if you just pull one out and just lick it!
You think we could find one that enhances lifes colors, you know like those toads?! LOL

I've always wondered what the local sushi restaraunt would do if I brought in my enormous Volitan Lion and just plopped it on the counter and said, "This One". I also wonder if I could even eat a lion, like what parts are toxic and what parts aren't.

I've got an emerald crab that's getting alarmingly big and I'm starting to wonder what he might taste like...before he starts to wonder what my fish taste like.
