I recently ordered another XM 10k 175 watt MH bulb (very nice color), apparently there is a difference between different XM 10k bulbs.

Some are marked XM175/B (nice and blue), and other are marked XM175/D (very yellow).

Once I installed the bulb I immediately noticed the difference. I called MD and they immediately agreed to do the return.

Ok, I just got the replacement bulb and they sent me the exact same wrong bulb as before, hmmmmmm.

I was very specific about the exact bulb I wanted. Not quite as happy now.

Well, things have been straightened out very nicely. Apparently the /B marking on the bulb must mean it is a 20k bulb.
