I'm considering an Aquatop hang-on unit with UV for my 12 gallon setup. I'm looking at this unit http://www.truaqua.com/aquatop-power-filter-pf-uv-25.html All photos and video seem to indicate that the UV lights are completely unsurrounded, so that you can look right at it (albeit through water). Is that really the case? Seems surprising to me! Does anyone have one of these units? If so, any good? (I like the surface skim feautre on the intake, since the tank is open-topped an has film/dust coating.)
