I can't believe no one is on this. Good set up for a good price. Does it have the quick disconnect riser?

Without the quick disconnect is it a pain to empty/clean?
How old is it and the pump? Trade off here may be warranty versus some $.

It is easy to clean without the quick disconnect. Back off a couple of thumbscrews, twist, lift and remove. You'll need about 1" above the skimmer to remove the cup.

Skimmers about 2-2.5 years old and the pump is under a year old.

The quick discconect is a bit of a pain actually. I have it, and if I had the choice I would not like it.


This is a great deal on this skimmer. I paid the same price, without a pump and my injector is a bit beat up with some cracks. I wish I saw this when I was buying mine.


BTW Ereefic, thanks for the tip on the silencer, its working great and nice and quiet now.
