I replaced this skimmer in my 40 breeder set-up because it was a little big for the sump and a little too much on the small water volume. Great skimmer and was previously running on a 125 gallon system and coping well but I think its best suited for 90-125 gallon. She needs a little cleaning up but I'm going to do that tonight. The wife says I have to get rid of some of my fish stuff but then said I can upgrade :celeb1: The skimmer is about 3 years old but has never let me down. I pulled it offline a couple moths ago when I wanted to set up a frag tank on the side of the 40 but that hasn't happened or will happen so I figure I will let someone else enjoy it. has some slight cracking on the top of the cup due to washing it in warm water (thank you my darling wife for washing it for me...) Looking for $120 but open to offers and maybe a trade if it will work in the new tank... PM me for more info.
