fans-what power supply to use?

Just got 12 cooling fans, I need to know what power supply to use. They are 80mm case fans, here are the specs;
Voltage: 12V

Power: 1.6W

Rated Current: 0.13A

I'd like to use no more than 2 plug ins for the fans. Not decided on a layout, I'll use anywhere from 8-12. The fans plug into a harness that has male/female 4-prong plugs, looks like I could gang them together and run 1 plug to an adapter/plug-in. Any advice would be appreciated.

For 12 fans, rsteagall has the right idea. You can even incorporate 3 of these fan controllers to allow you to adjust the speed properly for your fans. That particular unit also comes with 4 temperature sensors too. Unfortunately, you would need 3 to control all those fans though...

Didn't even think of using a computer power supply. Would one run all 12 fans? Could I simply clip the wires from the supply that I won't use?

Where did you get your fans from? What RPM, CFM, dB do they give? I am trying to put together a cooling fan setup for my tank as well and am having this same problem.

I did this in a past tank; these things are tanks.

Fan Controller At 8 amps of usable power you can run a ton of fans, and they are temprature controlled. Your choice voltage, current, TC or RTD.

I got mine from here for 4.95 each. i bought 6 to share with other control fanitic reefers, 5 are now gone ;)

Just look around, i'm sure they are still available.

I got mine on ebay, just search for 80mm blue case fan, guy's name is ezshop or something similar. He gave me a discount for the # I bought.
