Favorite Wild clams

Here is a photo of my favorite wild clam. It has survived under my care since late last year.

And this photo shows some new comers (purchased last month) - except the one in the front which is a crocea (it is doing better now). The 3's wild maxima are in the back.

I love that one at the top right hand corner. Beautiful. Where do you buy your wild clams from.

Have bought a few wild ones from Clams direct but that was just recently, been getting clams from them for about 8 months now.

Never thought I would get wild ones but they have some patterns and colors that farmed one just don't seem to have.

derrikd - I'm using 2, 250 watt 10K in Aquaspace light.

Ron - The first wild clam was purchased from Flying fish Express, the 2nd photo show clams that i bought from Clamsdirect.

Those clams are amazing. Unfortunately croceas only appear in the aquarium trade here one every few years so are immensely expensive when they do come and maximas are becoming almost as rare.
This is my favourite wild clam.
