Feather duster and coral rx

So, I mistakenly dipped my feather duster in coral rx. He shed his crown, but I hear they can grow them back. Question is did I kill the worm inside the tube?

I have 3 feather dusters.
2 have shed their feathers in the last month, both have regrown them back.
