This morning my featherduster 'shed' off its feathers. Now it has completely come out of it tube and is laying on the bottom of the tank. I need to know if this is something they normally do or if its going to die? Ive been hunting high and low for info on this but I cannot find anything. I appreciate any help someone can give.

When featherdusters shed their tentacles it symbolizes insufficient food. I've never seen a healthy feather worm gets out of its tube. I think yours' on its way out. You really need to dose a lot of phyto and zooplankton to keep them alive.
