Feeding a Turbinaria peltata

I recently purchased a Turbinaria peltata and had a question on feeding it. I am target feeding him daily with mysis and cyclopeze but my question is this. Do I need to get food into each polyp or does the animal share a digestive system, meaning if say 20% of the polyps take in food will it sustain the animal?

you dont' need to feed each polyp, but you also dont' need to target feed everyday, just 2-3 times a week. I for one never target fed my turbinaria, it just feeds off the water colum. I am sure they grow faster if they are target fed.
