Feeding Earthworms to Fish

I have a vermiculture set up. For those that don't know what that means it's a container designed to feed kitchen scraps to the worms. I currently have night crawlers in there. Is there any downside to feeding my fish these worms a couple of times a week. Has anyone done this? Good, Bad, Thoughts??

Without knowing the nutritive benefit of earthworms to marine fish, I couldn't say for sure. My guess is that a couple times a week would be ok, but it should not be the main staple of their diet. Like feeding fresh water goldfish to marine fish, they don't have the correct proteins. So maybe it's more like a yummy junk food snack for them, as an occasional, special treat.

Do your fish like eating them?

Curious to know what kind of fish are actually eating the earth worms.
