Fijian reefs (dive pics.)

Tanks for your thoughtful responses and more fabulous pics. If/when I go, I'll definitely need a hyperbaric chamber cuz I will totally forget to monitor guages and will have to shoot for the surface with 1 PSI left in the tank BTW that last shot is killer! I've done a number of dives throughout the Carribean: Florida Keys, Cozumel, St. Lucia, Bonaire....but nothing I've seen comes close to that. Best of luck on your return visit. Have you ever been to or considered other South Pacific dive sites e.g. GBR, Seychelles, Maldives, Micronesia, Papua/New Guinea etc? Just wondering how they compare.

we were looking into micronesia, solomon, or vanuatu, for our next south pacific visit , but most flights go through fiji or australia , so logisticaly its cheepest just to dive fiji or the GBR. otherwise your paying for additional flights. its expensive enough getting to california and then to the s. pac. , let alone island hoping (or island group hoping) when you get there.
we were considering tonga or other island groups close to fiji.
if $ is not a concern i would recomend getting out to some of the remote places.
regardless as you can see from the pics. there is no bad diving.

im still finalizing our x-mass trip so ill share any info worth having.
