Fill UP, get a sandwitch, and buy a fish.

Is this store a good place to buy just simple, basic fish? I'd like a nice african flameback angel or some randalls/candy cane gobies?

Jessp...I usually frequent the same stores as yourself..... Aquarium concept, aquarium depot, house of fins..etc sinc eI am in Kendall....

But hands down this guy gets great fish selection and the harder to find fish when compared to other lfs's. the nicest fish he had imo was about 1 month ago and saw the japanese dragon eel.. and for a steal imo at 700.00.

Im also in the Kendall Area, I get the common fish at those same stores, he gets the exotic fish I order from online.

this was my first time there and the new shipment was awesome. male and female flame wrasses, mysteri, psychadelics, triggers, and several angels and tangs. I picked up a sunburst anthia and a leopard wrasse. I give that place a thumbs up, and iwas truly impressed by the quality of livestock coming from such a small store.

it was also nice to meet fish2reef, but unforyunately i didnt get to know anyone else. those of you that were there helping to unpack the shipment, i was the skinny kid with the green long sleeve shirt lol.

I would say they carry upscale fish at below average fish prices. I have seen fish there that I have never seen in person before.

Nice to meet you ahoyhoy239 you survived the madness, I did not get anything in the feeding frenzy tomorrow I will swing by during lunch and take my time.

picked up a supermale hawaiian flame wrasse and the female as well... they truly are gorgeous and i couldnt pass it up especially after getting rid of my bicolor angel and having that extra room. My mystery was chasing them around the tank so i shut down all the lights and if it continues tomorrow ill shut them off again so the pair can acclimate well and with minimal stress.

jman,

i took the last sunburst anthia which was 25 but he had 4 purple queen anthias left for 12 each. i almost bought a pair of purple queens but i thought the sunburst was a little nicer. i guess i need a bigger tank to throw all of them in lol

was in miami today visiting my parents and came by this store thanks to this thread. :D this place is great. best prices i've ever paid for nice, healthy fish!

Yeah Deep Reef is awesome. I visited Deep Reef for the first time on last friday. They truly have the best prices I have seen.
The quality of the fish is great too.

BTW they got a new stock of fish on Monday (Oct.22nd) lots of new nice fish in stock.

I highly recommend this store.
