Finally up and running..

OK my tank is finally back up and running (almost two weeks) My LR has been curing for almost 13 days and the Ammonia has spiked and seems to be starting to back off. I started with 130lbs of premium Fiji Uncured rock and it appears to be lots of interesting "Stuff" not to mention all the sponges which I keep finding and removing. The pictures below ( sorry for quality..old camera) are after the final scrub, rinse and re-stack with out the MH on. Should be ready for some critters in a few weeks...Thanks to St.James for the "Starter sand" Here is my current set up:

90 gal Acrylic with corner over flow
40 gal sump with 15 lbs rubble rock bottom / 2x65PC
MR2 Skimmer 55Pcx
2x175 12k Sunburst (soon to be replaced)
4x95W VHO/Icecap
130 lbs LR
40 lbs Sand about 3/4 inch (Strictly for asthetics)
Dual Chambered CA reactor...(not hooked up yet)

And lots a room for Acro's!!!!!

Very nice. Nice rock stacking. I have your Acro frag. I'll bet it grows like crazy in that aquarium. Make sure to get through the nusiance algae blooms before adding Acropora.

Thats some pretty nice looking rock. Uncured you say? I have always prefered getting my rock uncured. You always get some really cool life. The only draw back I see is the smell during the curing and that rare but pesky Mantis Shrimp that seems to stow away from time to to time. I think its worth it to get some of the creatures that survive the trip. I like the stack job too makes me want to restack my tank:rollface:

I planned on that Gary....Don't want to introduce that nice frag into an "uncontrolled enviroment". So I'll let you know when I'm ready, I'll put a few other frags in first and go from there.

Thanks everyone for all positive feed back, I think I may move few rocks here and there, but for the most part I like the layout the way it is. I did find a huge worm today (dead) about 10" long and 1/4 in diameter. It's a bit early to tell but looks like I might have a few interesting hitch hikers...I'll try and get some close up's with my girlfriends camera this weekend. I think one more good 50% water change and I will let things go from there for a bit.

Update

Well things have been progressing nicley, have a few update photos..not the best quality, but they do show improvment. Some small areas of the dredded Hair Algae, but it is in remission. I have two Acro frags (thanks to St.James) some frilly Shrooms and some red and green shrooms as well...so far so good. Will be adding a bunch of stuff after the next weekends frag meet in PA.;)

Just wanted to share some new additions to my reef, from the Williamsport meet....Don't mind the HA...it's going fast now that I discovered it's food source...Phos in my RO water. So now I'm running ROWA on my RO and tank. The LM Blenny and the Powder brown tang are helping out a ton. All the Acros are showing some good growth for only being in my reef for 10 days! You will see new buds on almost all
