First 2 Baffles Installed

Well I finally got the hood completed and all lights, fans installed so I went ahead and started to work on the sump. Here is my 29 gal. sump with the first 2 baffles installed. I will hopefully finish the baffles tomorrow. Should I make the Fuge in the center or on the end. The water will enter from the left via my skimmer box that I am going to construct and either join to the tank via a bulkhead or from an overflow. I am thinking that a Mag 9.5 should do the trick on returning the water to the tank..
