First pics with new digital camera

It's a 6mp Nikon Coolpix L6 point and shoot. I didn't adjust the settings too much other than white balance and exposure, mainly because I'm not sure how to, lol. :D

I've always enjoyed taking pictures, but have never understood what all the settings do, so with this camera, I'm going to try and learn as much as I can so I can take better pictures. These are some of the first one's that I took. Please critique. ;)

These pics are of both my freshwater planted tank and my two saltwater tanks...

Zac~ Looking good... ;) Seems the caulerpa and xenia are doing well... Oh, and those little Fishboy GSM's... :D Has that fan helped control your temperature a bit better???

Oh definitely. Keeps it at 81-82 consistently. Thanks for the recommendation!

The xenia is doing great and growing like crazy. The caulerpa has absolutely taken over my 29 gallon. It honestly looks like a jungle.

I'll have to take a shot of it tonight.

The GSM's just started eating last night. They had been nibbling for the past two days, but I threw some brine shrimp in the tank last night and they went on a feeding frenzy. Good thing. I was having a hard time getting them to eat. Thanks Matt for all the help, btw.

They are doing well, though. Can't wait to pick up those snails. Algae was really showing up in my pics.

I had a lot more I wanted to post but forgot to resize them, and uploading 13 pics at 1 mb a piece in 30 minutes wasn't going to happen any time soon on a 56k.

I'll try and post some more now that I've got them resized. I managed to snap some much better pics of the goby and the corals.

You know, the great thing about the coralife digital timer I have it on... I have it setup so when the lights come on, the fan comes on. Seems to regulate the temperature very well. The light only has one power cord, so that helps out a lot too.

You need to take a look at the fire hazard that is my powercords and outlets... lol

Remember: Electricity + Salt Water = Electricution + Fire...

How's that for an algebra lesson... ;)
