about to make up a batch of saltwater for my first water change of the cycle. how long do you guys usually wait after mixing before swapping it in the tank? any tips?

Depends what salt. Some say you gotta be careful because undissolved salt can burn fishes gills. I use tropic marin pro and put it in after about 20 min of mixing with a mixing pump. Some say they mix their salt overnight. I think my method works tho. Never had any problems.
