Fish Being Picked On

HEY! SO I HAVE A 6-GALLON TANK, AND WHEN I FIRST STARTED RUNNING IT, I PUT IN TWO STRIPED BLACK DAMSELS. AFTER ABOUT A MONTH OR TWO, I JUST RECENTLY (3 DAYS AGO) PUT IN ANOTHER YELLOW-TAILED DAMSEL AND A GREEN CHROMIS. THE STRIPED DAMSELS WERE HELLLA MEAN TO THEM, AND THEY MANAGED TO KILL THE GREEN CHROMIS, AND MY HERMIT CRABS WERE HELLA HAPPY TO HAVE SOMETHING TO EAT. MY YELLOW-TAILED DAMSEL IS STAYING IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER OF MY TANK, AND ONLY MOVES WHEN MY FINGER GOES CLOSE, AND THEN IT GOES TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE TANK JUST TO BE ATTACKED BY THE STRIPED DAMSELS. I WAS WONDERING IF EITHER OF HTE TWO WOULD WORK:
-I THINK I KNOW WHICH DAMSEL IS BEING MEAN, SO I CAN TAKE IT OUT AND GIVE IT TO A FRIEND W/ A 100GAL TANK
-TAKE THE MEAN DAMSEL OUT (GIVE IT TO FRIEND), AND PUT IN ANOTHER GREEN CHROMIS AND YELLOW-TAILED DAMEL FROM THE PLACE I GOT THE ONE I HAVE NOW
-DO THE SECOND OPTION AND GET MORE ROCKS

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

P.S. IF I TAKE THE MEAN STRIPED DAMSEL OUT, AND I PUT IN IN A BOWL OF SALTWATER AND JUST THE DAMSEL, WILL IT DIE?

THANKS A LOT

Turn of your caps please, it makes you post hard to read.

2 damsels is your limit for 6 gallon tank. I would remove the weak one and either return it to the store or give it to your friend.

If you remove the mean one, the other striped will become the dominant and start beating the yellow.

A good rule to follow, about every two inches of fish requires about 5 gallons of water, so thats what I have been told.

If i take the two striped damsels out, and just leave the yellow-tailed damsel, is the yellow-tailed damsel less aggressive (in generaL)?

Maybe, but damsels are pretty aggressive in general. I'd keep at most one fish in a 6g tank, personally. Probably, I'd stick to a shrimp or the like instead of any fish. That's a pretty small tank for most fish, IMO.

yeah. imo certainly do not put another chromis in there. you need to remove the least dominant fish (the yellow one in the corner) and give it to your friend. after that, you can give the two striped ones to your lfs if you want to go in a different direction like bertoni said. if you want to go fresh water with that tank sometime in the future i think you can have more fish that way. ANYWAY, as for the salt in a bowl thing, instead of that it is better to take water out of your tank that has already been tested (take a small amount to your lfs and have them test it) then put some of your water in a bowl - COVER the bowl - and then bring the bowl over to your friend's place with a fish in it - or to the LFS - you can transport the 2 striped damsels together but don't put the yellow one with anything else). When I say cover the bowl, I mean tape the top with a clear tape that you would use to wrap a package with.

You have another option which is to give the yellow damsel to your friend or the lfs and just leave the 2 striped ones in there and see if they get along. if that doesn't work, just take one striped one out and give it to one of your two options.

hope this helps..
