Flame or Potters angel?

I'm going to try out a pygmy angel in my 120 mixed reef. I'll try the fish out first in my 30 gallon tank after they are done with QT. I'll throw in various corals and clams to see if the fish will pick at them before I take the chance of putting them in the display. That said, do you think I'd have better luck with a flame or potters, or are they about the same as far as their chances of nibbling on my reef?

get a potter angel, flame angels have had the reputation to look healthy for a couple months and then kick the bucket out of no where

I really think the chances it will nip something are about the same, so just get whichever you like better. Personally I'd go with a Potter's since it's less common and in my opinion, prettier.

I've had both in my 105 at the same time. Only lost the fish after a 20hr blackout; had them for 15 months before the end. You should be able to find healthy specimens of both so it's up to you which you like better.

Yeah, just to echo what people are saying, make sure you find a specimen whose swim bladder is stable; they're taken from slightly deeper depths and sometimes they're not brought up slowly enough.
