This is an outstanding thread as so many reef keepers have so many other critters. I learned more in this thread today about controlling my 3 dogs' fleas than days of searching on the web.

What I ended up doing is having a pest co. spray small amt. pesticide w/ larger amt. growth inhibitor, spraying at floor level. Did not spray within 6' of tanks. Tank room is tile so mopped all around tank w/ half & half vinegar to water. Same day treated dog & 3 cats. Retreating dog & cats every mo. w/ Advantage. Haven't had a problem since.
