Flex PVC vs. Rigid

I try to use Flex as much as possible but there is a place where I think Rigid will work better...more support.

How mad is the vibrational noice from rigid PVC?

I will be securing it to the back of the stand, hopefully with some foam between the pipe and the wood.

Flow will be about 800gph through 1" PVC.

Any comments, suggestions or things I should be sure to do?

I've never had problems with rigid vibrating. However, I use try to stick with only high quality pumps that don't produce a lot of vibration.

Personally, I find that you can create the support you need with flex simply by using plastic brackets screwed against the stand or wherever you need the support.

Edit: you should be able to find support brackets in the electrical dept of your home and hardware store.
