Flexible PVC, what to use to glue? Better than Solid PVC?

Should I use Flexible PVC for my basement setup? I have a bunch of black pvc pipe, but was wondering if I should use flexible pvc whenever I could? I guess the bends on it are much nicer than the elbows and 45* elbows.

Also, do I use regular PVC primer and cement as well as flexible pvc pipe sealant?

Good luck and yes you can use the regular primer and a medium based glue. However the flex pvc glue is easier to use imo.

I'm going to second the ease of use on flex. There's barely any detailed measuring, just get a rough idea, prime, slop some glue in the fittings and force the pipe all the way into the fittings. The only issue I have with flex is I have to pick it up in 50' rolls. Now the trunk of my car is overrun with the stuff. Looks like I'm getting ready to plumb the water works at an amusement park or something, haha.

Edit: As far as gluing it goes, I just use the clear Oatley PVC cement alongside their clear primer. My PVC is black though, so it does funny things to the color of the primer.

very cool. I did buy an army of 45 degree bends to get things to fit, but the flexible looks perfect for my basement plumbing!!
